absolutely perfect for couples. its very secluded there, and quiet. the cabin was beautiful and exceptionally clean. i would recommend to anyone who loves peace and quiet. we are going back this year. cant hardly wait.
We stayed in Tree house loft. And it was a great time, cabin is very nice. The only problem was the outside hot tub was not useable because of it Being cloudy and having smell to it. If I was to go again I would tell them to clean the hot tub good! They did come out and put shock in it when I notified them. But didn't clean filter. And it didn't help. And you have bad back out don't like climbing stairs Tree house is not for you.
We had an amazing time here, our cabin was wonderful and the Saturday dinner was great, definitely will go back
This is a fabulous place to get away from it all and relax with your spouse. It is designed for couples only, with king-sized beds in every cabin and hot tubs and no distractions. Each cabin has a full kitchen so you can bring your own food and make your meals. We've been here four times and have always had a great time alone together. The cabin is always clean and nicely decorated. There is a pond in the center of the property with benches and swings built for two. You can hike down to the creek, but part of the trail is not marked or easy to navigate, but still very beautiful. Don't expect to be entertained, there are no activities or social events. This is a place for you and your spouse to be alone, in nature, to focus on each other. You can get plenty of sleep in the nice bed, relax on the deck surrounded by huge trees, breathe in the fresh air, go for a walk on tree-lined paths, sit by the pond and watch the sunset, or hike down to the creek and maybe even take a swim if you like. There are things that they could do to improve this beautiful place for sure, but it's still worth it to come enjoy as it is. We have always been treated well and anything we need is quickly provided by the staff. We will continue to come again and again.
We stayed at Cliffside. It was just like the pictures showed. The cabins are separated by trees so you have the privacy you want. Well equipped kitchen, so you can bring your food. They do offer meals at lodge/office but we had our own. We will be coming back later. I think we might try different cabins. Should be fun.
